Eher aktiver Beobachter als Künstler, setzt sich Karate vor allem mit dem Schreiben im öffentlichen Raum auseinander. Dabei beschäftigt er sich in erster Linie mit Techniken, Taktiken und Machtverhältnissen. Ist Schreiben Kunst, Kultur oder Machtinstrument?
Während seiner Arbeit entdeckt er alte Räume neu, dringt in neue Räume vor und beschreibt beide.

Rather an active observer than an artist, Karate deals with writing in public space. Primarily he concerns himself with techniques, tactics and the role of power. Is writing art, culture or an instrument of manipulation?
During his work he rediscovers traditional spaces, expands into new spaces and pictures both of them.

LOCUS DELICTI

Auf Planet Prozess widmet sich der Deutsch-Argentinier der Toilette als Urzelle des Writing sowie neuen Überwachungs-Technologien und damit der Erschließung neuer Räume. Außerdem stellt er mit der Gruppe Vomito Attack ein mächtiges Kooperationsprojekt vor.

On Planet Prozess the German-Argentinian applies himself to the toilet as the primal cell of writing as well as to new surveillance technologies which reveal new spaces. Moreover he introduces the audience to a powerful cooperative project with the group Vomito Attack.
